University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Digitization Coordinator & Registrar
Champaign, Illinois
07/2019, Digitization Coordinator & Registrar of the Rare Book & Manuscript Library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Manin Library. This will be my last meeting as chair of LACCHA (Latin American and Caribbean Cultural Heritage Archives section), and all I have to say is that it has been an enriching and wonderful experience leading the section.

07/2017, I am the South Florida Librarian of the Government Resources and Information Department at the Florida International University (FIU). I'm looking to attend presentations dealing with government collections, audiovisual resources, and Latin American collections, meet and connect with archivists of various sections. I am scheduled to appear at the LACCHA and the IAAS sections meeting.
08/2015, Recent master's degree graduate of the art history program at the University of Florida. Also have a MLIS degree from the Florida State University. This will be my first SAA meeting and am looking to take two DAS courses, build connections and probably get interviewed for a job. Prior to completing the MA, I worked as metadata assistant at the University of Miami Libraries, and also as a newsroom archivist at The Miami Herald. My archival interests these days are geared toward digital archival strategies, long-term preservation, and curation of collections.
