How do you advocate for yourself, your staff, and your unit? Have you had to justify a change from staff to faculty rank? Have you had to advocate for yourself, student assistants, and colleagues? This session features professionals from academic, business, and government archival settings who took risks and advocated for the value of their expertise and gained administrative buy-in to assemble their work teams, enhance budget allocations, and build a community of support.
