1. Registration Desk
A name badge is required for admission to all meetings, sessions, and events. You may pick up your name badge during the dates/times below. To replace a lost badge, go to the Onsite Registration Desk during registration hours. Grand Foyer (Level 4)

3. Special Needs
If you have any special needs in order to participate fully in the conference, please contact the SAA office via email at conference@archivists.org. Should you require assistance onsite, speak with an SAA staff member at the Onsite registration desk.

4. Nursing Mothers’ Room
Conference organizers have arranged for attendee use of a lactation room during the conference. Room 205 is equipped with a table, chairs, and mini-fridge. See map. Please go to the Onsite registration desk for a key.

5. Why Go Fragrance-Free?
To maintain a welcoming and accessible environment for all attendees, we encourage you to refrain from wearing scented products (such as perfumes/colognes), clothing with strong detergent scents, fragrant personal care products, etc., as these can trigger serious health issues for those with fragrance allergies. A fragrance-free seating section will be available in each session room. Thank you for your consideration for all members of our community! Your Austin-area colleagues have joined forces to staff the Advance Registration Desk – and provide you with the information you need to enhance your conference experience with repository tours and open houses, restaurant advice, ideas for on-your-own adventures, and tips on navigating the city and surrounding areas. 7. Information Tables
Stop by the information tables in the registration area to learn about your colleagues’ initiatives, contribute to our community service projects, and bid on silent auction items. Contact conference@archivists.org to reserve a table. Grand Foyer (Level 4)

8. SAA Bookstore
Swing by the SAA Bookstore to browse and buy SAA’s latest titles or to chat about an idea you have for a book, module, article, or case study with Publications Editor Chris Prom, American Archivist Editor Cal Lee, and SAA Publishing staff Teresa Brinati and Abigail Christian. Grand Salon 3/4

For Job Seekers:
  • Bring extra copies and post your résumé for prospective employers to see at the conference. 
  • Review job announcements and meet with employers.  
  • Get help polishing your résumé and/or consult with volunteer career advisors. (Attendees are invited to schedule an appointment in advance for consultation with an advisor. Please see the Career Development Subcommittee website for more information: http://www2.archivists.org/groups/career-development-subcommittee.
For Employers:
  • Post your position announcement(s) via the SAA Online Career Center or bring announcements to post onsite.
  • Place your announcement(s) on file in the Career Center and expand your applicant pool.
