Kaitlin manages Brooklyn Connections, an award winning school program based out of the Brooklyn Public Library's (BPL) special collection, the Brooklyn Collection. Brooklyn Connections is a residency-style program that teaches 4-12th grade students research skills while completing a standards-based project on a theme in Brooklyn history. Since joining BPL in 2013, Kaitlin has co-facilitated over three dozen workshops on how to infuse primary source analysis and archival research into K-12 curriculum. Kaitlin's previous experience includes working at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne Australia, Victoria & Albert Museum's Theatre & Performance Archive, British Museum and North Carolina Archives Military Collection.
